Providence Committee on Foreign Relations |
The PCFR holds monthly dinner speakers from September to June of each year. We accept membership applications any time during the year. The Membership Board will review and accept applications. The membership requirements are simple: we seek to attract interested, knowledgeable members with an interest in international affairs; and we welcome members from all background and political views.
Interested members, or those who were nominated by current members, should contact the Vice Chair, Bob Whitcomb (link). After membership approval, new members will be required to pay annual dues to our Treasurer. Prospective members are welcome to attend meetings as the guests of current members of the PCFR.
Members must remain current on their annual dues.
At the end of each presentation, we open the floor up for questions from the audience. We ask that our members be respectful and succinct.
Unless stated otherwise, the PCFR follows Chatham House Rule (explanation link).
Sustaining - Dues are $120.
Regular Member - Dues are $90.
Spousal, for spouses of members - Dues are $50 in addition to the regular or sustaining membership.
